When I injured my rotary cuff a couple years back, the worst part wasn't the lack of mobility, it was sleep. Every time I moved during sleep, i would jostle my shoulder, sending shooting pains up and down my arm which caused me to wake up. after a couple months I finally found a solution, SquishMallows!
If you aren't familiar with Squishmallows, they are usually egg shaped stuffed animals in a variety of sizes. I found a somewhat large one that fit perfectly when I was sleeping on my side. I could drape my arm over it and put a second regular pillow behind my back to keep me from moving so much at night. I suggest buying them in person so you can test how soft or firm they are, but if that isn't possible be sure to have a ruler so you know the size you are getting when buying online. I currently have a client with a broken arm, so the Squishmallow in the affiliate link is long, so that he can stack it on a regular bed pillow to keep his hand raised at night.
Heal well!
