Do you remember some of the things you were curious about as a child. Things you wanted to try, places you wanted to explore or imaginings that gripped your interest?
Every summer I got to spend time with my grandparents. I would garden and cook with grandma. I would work in the woodshop and fix the car with grandpa. I was fascinated by all the mechanics under the hood of the car.
As an only child I was fascinated with Dr. Dolittle and his ability to talk to the animals. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have friends wherever I went with all the animals around?
In my adult life, the fascination of repairing systems switched from mechanical objects to the human body and energy field, tracing and tracking blocks and creating a path for the smooth flow of energy. It is exciting to discover the problem and help create a solution, while also challenging the client to be an active part of the healing. I love the work that I do.
Last month, after following Alex for about a year and finally being done with the bit of jealousy I felt for all the people I know who can communicate with animals, I started taking Animal Communication for Beginners. Although I know quite a bit about working with energy, I had to remind myself to go in with a beginners mind and practice the work as Alex and Kayla were teaching it, being open to learning new ways of doing things. It is week 3 and I was so chuffed (yes, I finally understand the emotion behind this British word) to connect with Poe the horse in a very different way than when I connect for doing healing. And I was equally as excited to get correct information about the horse and his environment, which was something I struggled to do while I was in school and we did similar exercises.
If you are curious about the process of communicating with animals, Alex's book was just released today and I'm on the second chapter already. Here is my link to check out the book.
She also offers a mini course when you purchase the book!
Enjoy.
